DESCRIPTION:If you were admitted to a Federal Indian Hospital while it was operated by the Government of Canada\, you may be eligible to receive money as part of a Canada-wide settlement that has been reached to compensate individuals for harms they suffered. \nThe Claims Period is now open\, and you have until July 27\, 2028\, to submit a claim. \n\nJune 8\, 5:30 p.m.: informational presentation of the Settlement and Claims Helper support (no 1:1 appointments with Claims Helpers)\nJune 9-12: book sessions with a Claims Helper here.\n\nRegistration is encouraged but not required. \nFor more information on the Federal Indian Hospitals Settlement\, call the Info Line at 1-888-592-9101 or visit IHSettlement.ca.
