Pap-a-Palooza 2024 🌸In collaboration with the All Nations Health Partners Ontario Health Team, PAP TEST appointments will be offered throughout April.

The All Nations Health Partners (ANHP) is promoting cervical cancer awareness in April by being a part of the Pap-A-Palooza Campaign. As part of the ANHP, healthcare providers from Kenora Chiefs Advisory (KCA), Waasegiizhig Nanaandawe’iyewigamig Health Access Centre (WNHAC), and Sunset Country Family Health Team (SCFHT) are offering pap testing at specific locations to anyone with a cervix in the ANHP catchment area. This invitation is also being extended to those without a health care provider.

Carol Wilson, NP will be offering PAP test appointments to members of the KCA communities and those without healthcare providers who are eligible for cervical screening at the SCFHT in Kenora. See the poster for information on how to book an appointment. Some KCA communities will have appointments for PAP testing, check with your Health Centre, if not, please book in Kenora.

WHO NEEDS A PAP TEST AND HOW OFTEN?

🔸Anyone with a cervix (women, trans, non-binary)

🔸Aged 25-69 years who have ever been sexually active should have a PAP Test every 3 years to screen for cervical cancer

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR THIS CLINIC:

🔹 Anyone with a cervix who is requiring a PAP test

🔹 Anyone WITH or WITHOUT a healthcare provider in the Kenora area
