Ogimaawabiitong (Kenora Chiefs Advisory) Board and Staff would like to extend our heartfelt condolences and love to the family of Elder Lynn Skead of Wauzhushk Onigum First Nation.
Elder Lynn Skead is a long-standing member of KCA’s Elder Council and a strong voice at our tables. Lynn is an integral part of the foundation work that has helped KCA evolve to where we are today. She shaped and guided us with kindness, humour and wisdom for so many years. She is a gifted Healer who shared her gifts with many of us over the years, helping us to be well in our work.
Lynn’s dedication to seeing improved change and better futures for the youth in our First Nation communities will be remembered. Her guidance and direction will be something all of us at Ogimaawbaiitong continue to carry with us moving forward. We will listen to her words and honour her through our work. We wish Lynn well on the next journey she is taking.
