We’re honoured to have been a part of the Kenora-Rainy River District Health Partners Network’s Mental Health and Addictions conference!
Over the past 3 days, mental health professionals from across Treaty #3 came together to address the most pressing substance use and mental health priorities in our communities, with a supportive, inclusive, and empowered environment for all.
A huge Miigwetch to our Elders Allan White, Andy White, Agnes Paul, Luanne Kavanaugh, Gwen Redsky, George Land, and our drummers for leading the welcoming and closing ceremonies.
Another Miigwetch to the partners who supported the event: Roots to Thrive, Kenora Sexual Assault Centre, ENH Canada, Kenora Association for Community Living, Sioux Lookout First Nations Health Authority, Giishkaandago’Ikwe Health Services, and Firefly Kenora.
