On June 3, Ogimaawabiitong – KCA staff, alongside members of the Elders Council and Youth Council, were hosted by Wauzhushk Onigum Nation at the Roundhouse on Powwow Island.

Chi-Miigwech to Ogitchida Drum, Song Carriers, Elder Ida Skead, and Chief Skead for your words honouring this season of renewal. It was a beautiful day to feast together. Our day was greeted by Thunderbirds rolling through.

Special acknowledgment goes to Wabaseemoong for offering to host us for our Spring Feast. We offer condolences to the families in WIN for their losses, and you are all in our prayers. We look forward to returning to Wabaseemoong for our Fall Feast.
